We fabricate and supply steel to companies all around the country…
But we also have a dedicated and qualified team of erection specialists who can adapt to any site and help build any steel structure.
Right now, as the lockdown continues to ease and more paused projects are picked up again, we’re know the demand for qualified erections crews will be much higher than normal.
So, if you’re looking for support on this front, you should get in touch with us here at Fussey Engineering.
As well as working on projects where we’ve fabricated the steel, our crews are also available to work on totally independent projects, even if you’ve sourced steel from elsewhere. It’s no problem.
Our team are happy to support you in either case, so don’t hesitate to get in touch if your steel supply is sorted, but you need additional support on site when it comes to erection.
As always, to talk about a project, just get in touch on 01469 540 644 or through our contact page here.
When it comes to erecting steel structures…
Every job is different.
But the fact is, our fully qualified and specially trained erection team are able to adapt to almost any situation on site.
Whether the site is wide open with plenty of space to work, or if it’s tight and enclosed and would be a challenge to other erection teams, we will always find a way to get the job done safely.
For example…
Erecting a freestanding building structure as part of the Ludgate House project , the site was relatively spacious and the team were able to quickly erect it for the client.
But even if it’s a project that is much more restrictive, like the project we worked on in Loughton to build a new fire escape , we can quickly figure out an effective way of working.
Regardless of the challenge, we will always carry out the brief to the highest standard.
And our erection teams are always able to adapt their schedule around the working needs of the site too.
With projects like Ludgate House and the fire escape at Loughton, our work wouldn’t cause too much disruption.
But when it came to working on the tunnels at Heathrow, we faced a different challenge.
The tunnels needed to be open 24 hours a day, despite the work.
So, we found a way to adapt our work to make sure traffic could continue flowing through the tunnels with minimum disruption.
Whatever the challenge, our erection and management teams will work with you to find a suitable way to overcome it.
And one thing you can be assured of when it comes to working with the erection and management teams here at Fussey Engineering is that you’ll always be dealing with fully qualified people.
All our teams are CSCS, CITB, safety passport trained with IPAF licences and CPCS slinger signallers.
In fact, our erection gang leaders are also appointed persons, qualified crane supervisors and hold SSSTS cards.
So, when it comes to erecting any steel structure, our team have all the necessary skills and training to operate any equipment needed to get the structure up, safely and securely.
As we mentioned before, our teams are able to work on projects independent to those where we’ve fabricated the steel too.
So, if there’s a project you need support on right now and you’re struggling to find the erection crew you need or are facing new challenges on site because of social distancing, get in touch with us here at Fussey Engineering.
We’ll figure out exactly what support you need and how we can help you in the most effective and efficient way.
As always, to talk about a project, just get in touch on 01469 540 644 or through our contact page here.
We recognise the importance of being proactive at tender stage and would be happy to offer any assistance, such as joint site visits and feasibility studies, in an attempt to improve your estimating departments’ success rate and as a direct consequence our own success rate…
