Coronavirus continues to present an enormous challenge to every business in the UK.
And that is certainly the case in the engineering industry.
Here at Fussey Engineering, ever since the pandemic began back in March this year, we have done all we can to operate in line with the guidance provided by the government.
At all our times, our priority is to protect our staff, our clients and our visitors to make sure they feel safe and secure.
While we are based in North Lincolnshire, our work takes us all around the country and it’s therefore crucially important we have strong and strict guidelines for our team to follow.
By putting these measures in place, we hope we can continue to provide the same high level of service we have become known and trusted for.
Indeed, we’re happy to reassure all of our current clients and anyone who might need structural steel support over the coming weeks and months that we’ve taken a number of steps to make sure we’re able to operate with as little disruption as possible.
The fact is, safety is at the heart of everything we do here at Fussey Engineering.
So, it comes natural to us that we would make sure our own offices and workshop are as safe as possible when it comes to working in these difficult times.
As well as ensuring all visitors and drivers entering the site wear masks and observe social distancing measures, we are also asking anyone entering the building to have their temperature checked.
On top of this, we’ve also put in place rules to have any documentation or paperwork needed on a job provided digitally to help cut down materials being passed around.
This includes invoices and delivery notes.
Indeed, we’ve sent these mandatory rules to all of our suppliers as well, to politely ask them to observe the rules when visiting our office or the workshop.
Of course, all of our staff in the office and all of our engineers in the workshop have also been made aware of these rules and are themselves following social distancing measurements as appropriate.
Everyone is keen to work as safely as possible and is looking out to help each other observe the rules.
Whenever we are met with a challenge or a problem arising from these rules, we will figure out a solution and resolve the issue as a priority.
As well as observing government guidelines…
And as well as observing our own rules for safety…
We are also making sure everyone onsite is using the NHS track and trace app.
To help with, we have affixed QR codes around the premises for staff and visitors to check in with accordingly.
We hope with these measures in place we will be able to continue to provide a top-quality service, while at the same time making sure all of our staff, clients and visitors are safe.
